These terms govern your use of Litbytes (litbytes.app). By using the site, joining the waitlist, or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Litbytes.
What Litbytes is
Litbytes is a feed of short videos that summarize ideas from non-fiction books. It's currently in early access — features, content, and availability can change as we build.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping access to your account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to create one. You can delete your account at any time from /profile/delete — this permanently removes your saves, likes, hidden ideas, and profile, and can't be undone.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Try to break, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to Litbytes or its data.
- Scrape, republish, or resell the content without our permission.
- Use the service for anything illegal or harmful to others.
Content
The ideas, summaries, and videos on Litbytes are our own work — written in our own words, not verbatim excerpts from the books they reference — and belong to Litbytes. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.
No warranty
Litbytes is provided "as is," especially while in early access. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or exactly what you expect — we're actively building it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Litbytes isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
